Safety is the highest priority of the PCA Chicago region. To ensure our track events are run with the highest safety we have adopted a modified version of the PCA National approved tech sheet. It is the Driver’s responsibility to make certain their vehicle meets all of these minimum standards.

The 2025 tech sheet has two parts. Form A is a pre-event thorough inspection with a 120-day expiration date and Form B is a short form inspection that is turned in at each event.

This two-part system may reduce the cost of preparing your vehicle for the track with the Form A major services only being required every 120 days. Form A is similar to last year’s tech sheet.

The downloadable form is a PDF fill-in form which allows you to complete most of the form on your computer before printing. You can then save that form and print another copy for your next event.

Procedure

For your first event or after Form A has Expired

Print out a copy of Form A (double sided) and fill in your personal and vehicle data. Have your vehicle inspected by a Porsche dealer or independent shop or a PCA-Chicago approved inspector. This form must be signed by the inspector.

Print out a copy of Form B and fill in your personal and vehicle data. Make sure nothing has changed since the Form A inspection was completed and bring this signed form along with Form A to the track.

BE PREPARED TO SHOW YOUR MOST RECENT FORM A

A new Form A is required when:

• 120 days have passed since the last Form A inspection date
• Substantive change to the vehicle since the last Form A Inspection Date
• Vehicle was in an incident on or off track
• You do not have Form A available for inspection at the track

Note: If you do not have a completed Form A you will need to have a FULL TECH INSPECTION performed at the track. This will happen only after ALL other cars have gone through tech so it will likely impact your driving time!
