Looking for a little excitement in your life? Want to experience the kind of driving your Porsche was designed for? Come find out! Let our seasoned PCA instructors show you what you’ve been missing. We will teach you the skills required to drive your Porsche or other sports car at its limits in a safe and secure environment.

The Chicago Region uses several different racetracks for its Drivers Education program; from the very scenic and long (4 miles) Road America in beautiful Elkhart Lake Wisconsin to Autobahn Country Club in Joliet, Illinois. We also hold events at Blackhawk Farms Raceway in South Beloit, Wisconsin and GingerMan Raceway in South Haven, Michigan. If you have never experienced driving your Porsche the way it was meant to be driven come give our Drivers Education events a try.

For our second year in a row, The Chicago Region PCA is headed back to the Autobahn Country Club for a driver’s education event. Join us on Friday July 20th, 2018. The unique timing of this event is perfect for those who want to take advantage of having half days off in the summer.

The Road America Drivers' Education “RADE” event is a driver school put on each spring by the Chicago Region Porsche Club with an emphasis on safety. Held in Elkhart Lake, WI at Road America, one of the premier racetracks in the world. This program has been developed over many years to teach you the skills you need to drive your Porsche at its limits in a safe and secure environment. 

New this year: We have offered a limited number of spots to Badger BMW members. Those with previous Road America experience along with their BMW’s will be allowed to participate. 

This event is held over Memorial Day weekend and you must pass technical inspection (SUV’s, Cayennes or Macans are not allowed), and to drivers age 18 and older with an emphasis on the novice driver. Starting Thursday night, May 24th with a novice driver meeting, and ending Sunday, May 27th, RADE leaves Memorial Day open to celebrate with friends and family. 

Pre-registration is required for this event, as on-site registrations will not be accepted. Novice drivers, who have never been on a road course, are strongly encouraged to attend the Autocross Precision Car Control Clinic, as well as, Novice Drivers School at Blackhawk Farms Raceway.

The Chicago Region invites you to join us for our 23rd annual Drivers Education weekend at GingerMan Raceway, which is located just outside the scenic Lake Michigan resort community of South Haven, Michigan. In June 2009, Porsche Club of America and the Lockton HPDE Insurance Program® announced their partnership in delivering affordable insurance to the many PCA enthusiasts involved in performance driving events. The program provides affordable, single-event physical damage insurance for vehicles used in PCA high-performance driving schools.
