You may have noticed I have set up our last 3 Porsches and Pastries at their last year’s locations.

Since the weather can be iffy in November, one of members Adam Kern suggested visiting Collector’ Car Garage on the West side of Chicago. CCG’s Facilities make a perfect venue for iffy weather because we can gather outside in their large secure parking lot if the weather is good or we (members, not cars) can head inside their 60,000 sq. ft. Dust-free Climate Controlled Garage if the weather turns bad.

Aaron Wallace, Head of Membership Development will be conducting tours of CCG.

French Link, IN

Event Info PDF

We will drive on Friday through the Illinois and Indiana back roads stopping for lunch near Danville, IL. Then we are off to French Lick, IN. Friday night is a free night with no planned activities. There is plenty to see and do in the hotel. Or take the free shuttle to West Baden and enjoy a meal or drinks under the atrium.

On Saturday morning we will drive the Ohio River Scenic Byway. These are some of the best Porsche roads you will ever drive! There are lots of elevation changes and hair-pin turns as well as fast whoop- de- doo’s in the rolling countryside. Some of you may have experienced theses roads during “Parade” and to blow my own horn, I wrote all the tours for that“Parade.” The roads are amazing and towards the end of the tour we are at or near river level which offers great views of the Ohio River! We will wind our way back to Jasper, IN where we will stop for lunch at a great German restaurant, the Schnitzelbank!

This place rocks! Great German food!
