Come out for our 4th visit to Superdawg and enjoy Hot Cars, Ice Cream, and Fun Music.

Last Summer was another great event and I believe if it ain’t broke don’t try to fix it. We will be following the CDC recommendations on keeping everyone safe...wearing masks (except when eating your tasty treats) and 6 foot social distancing.

Superdawg and Chicago PCA are discounting all of the ice cream treats with a 50% discount to everyone wearing their PCA NameTags. Superdawg is being very nice to provide us with a DJ, 100 car parking area, raffle prizes, and picnic tables for the event at 333 S Milwaukee Ave. The inside service is no longer available so the ordering of your treats will be done outside with the drive-in car hops or by using the drive-thru lane.

This year to help keep track of everyone attending we are asking that everyone go to Clubregistration.net and sign up. Clubregistration.net makes it so much easier to send and receive emails to all the attendees.

The Chicago Region invites you to join us for our 25th annual Drivers Education weekend at GingerMan Raceway, which is located just outside the scenic Lake Michigan resort community of South Haven, Michigan.

This year’s event will be held on Saturday, August15th and Sunday, August 16th. We hope you can join us for one of the season’s premier DE events.

GingerMan Raceway is a challenging 2.21 mile road course with 11 turns, a number of elevation changes, and plenty of runoff areas. Not only is it fun to drive, but it was built with optimal driver safety in mind, which makes it a great choice for less experienced drivers.

Join PCA Chicago Region for an all-new flavor of rallye that uses the Richta GPS Checkpoint System – and requires no checkpoint workers!

We will not be meeting at a restaurant after this rallye. We’ll have scores available at the starting point! Sign up information: Pre-registration ($30 per car) is REQUIRED for this rallye. Day-of registration will not be available. Please register online at https://clubregistration.net, sign in, and then scroll down the list of events to “Double the Checkpoints Rallye” on August 30, 2020. You will need to sign two waivers online: the general waiver, and a communicable disease waiver.

Now, for the all-new part: We’ll be using the Richta smartphone app to run this rallye. After you register, you’ll receive instructions on where to find and how to download the app, which you’ll need to keep open as you drive. The app uses the GPS from your phone to record your comings and goings – and automatically calculates your score!

Three Friday events plus our two-day Oktoberfest weekend.

The season begins with our Novice Day event on Friday, April 24th. This event is dedicated to the novice driver. This is the event to attend if you are new to the club. We typically have 40 or more novice drivers at this event so in addition to learning how to handle your vehicle. It is also a great way to meet fellow club members. Again this year we will be incorporating one experienced group at this Novice Day event. This group is open to all who have previous track experience but have not reached the Instructor level.

The June 26 and July 17 events are open to novice and experienced drivers. Run groups will be based on driver experience. A novice group with both on track and classroom instruction will also be provided.

The season ends with the Oktoberfest two-day weekend event. This is open to drivers with previous experience. No novice instruction will be provided. The weekend event includes dinner party Saturday and pizza at the track Sunday.
