Now is the time we waited for all winter. The sun shines a little longer each day, I’m trusting the temperature will warm up and my honey-do-list is about as done as it’s going to get until next winter.

I’m starting off with a challenge to you. Please continue to attend your favorite events but I challenge you to attend at least one new event this season. As I always say, what’s the worst that can happen - you drive your Porsche, spend the day in the fresh air, talk to other enthusiasts, make some new friends and avoid chores and emails! Total Win-Win.

All Drivers Can Run All Three Days !!!

Registration for this event is open to all Porsche sportscar vehicles and drivers including new Drivers’ Education participants.  Pre-registration is required for this event, as on-site registrations will not be accepted.  This is a Porsche sportscar only event.  Novice drivers, who have never been on a road course, are strongly encouraged to attend the Autocross Drivers School, as well as, Novice Drivers School at Blackhawk Farms Raceway.  Novice participants are limited to 45 drivers.

The Chicago Region is returning to the “Full” 3.56 mile road course located in Joliet, Illinois at the Autobahn Country Club on June 17th. This event is open to drivers of all Driver Education experience levels. We will have instruction available for the Novice Driver. This event is available to non-PCA members.

This program is a driver education program and not a racing program. Come out and enjoy your Porsche in a controlled environment. Autobahn Country Club has quickly gained the reputation as one of the finest road course facilities within a country club environment.

The season begins Friday May 10th with our Novice Day event. This event is dedicated to the novice driver. This is the event to attend if you are new to the club. We typically have 40 or more novice drivers at this event so in addition to learning how to handle your vehicle; it is also a great way to meet fellow club members. Again this year we will be incorporating one experienced group at this Novice Day event. This group will be open to all who have previous track experience but have not reached the Instructor level.
