The mystery of how and what to address to show your Porsche in the coming season will be shown by our national award-winning members. Basic introduction to cleaning, preparing exterior and interior will give you an orientation as to how to clean your Porsche for the coming season. Even if you do not plan on competing it will introduce you to various products and methods for the health and beauty of your Porsche.

Come join us for a great evening at one of the great car museums in the country Over 300 cars under a roof the size of 3 football fields.

  • Secured parking is provided at 3111 N Knox Ave, Chicago
  • Doors open at 4PM with full traditional Irish dinner served at 5:30PM

Scheduling difficulties require us to take the Eli’s Cheesecake Factory tour off the program. We hope that this doesn’t inconvenience anyone.

Precision Car Control also known as “Autocross” is an inexpensive opportunity to enthusiastically drive your Porsche, in a controlled, and safe environment. Drivers navigate through a predefined course outlined with road cones.

You will test and improve your driving skills while experiencing the impressive handling performance of your car.

The Road America Drivers' Education “RADE” event is a driver school put on each spring by the Chicago Region Porsche Club with an emphasis on safety. Held in Elkhart Lake, WI at Road America, one of the premier racetracks in the world. This program has been developed over many years to teach you the skills you need to drive your Porsche at its limits in a safe and secure environment. 

New this year: We have offered a limited number of spots to Badger BMW members. Those with previous Road America experience along with their BMW’s will be allowed to participate. 

This event is held over Memorial Day weekend and you must pass technical inspection (SUV’s, Cayennes or Macans are not allowed), and to drivers age 18 and older with an emphasis on the novice driver. Starting Thursday night, May 24th with a novice driver meeting, and ending Sunday, May 27th, RADE leaves Memorial Day open to celebrate with friends and family. 

Pre-registration is required for this event, as on-site registrations will not be accepted. Novice drivers, who have never been on a road course, are strongly encouraged to attend the Autocross Precision Car Control Clinic, as well as, Novice Drivers School at Blackhawk Farms Raceway.

  • Float to Manitowoc, WI 
  • Drive to the Courthouse Pub for lunch in Manitowoc, WI
